Soroud-e-Melli est l'ancien hymne national de l'Afghanistan. Il a été adopté en 1978 jusqu'à son remplacement en 2006 par Milli Tharana.

L'Unité nationale

Milli Tarāna (Pashto : ملي تـﺮانه - ) is the National Anthem of Afghanistan.

It was adopted and officially announced in May 2006.

According to article 20 of the Constitution of Afghanistan, the National Anthem of Afghanistan shall be in Pashto with the mention of « God is Greatest » as well as the names of the ethnicities of Afghanistan.

National Anthem 2006

Afghanistan's new national anthem which was first played in Kabul on 14th May 2006. It was approved by a 40-member council chosen from diverse Afghan Cultural backgrounds.
